For those of you who may be wondering about exterior painting of historical buildings, there is a small clause in the guidelines set forth by Montclair Historical Preservation Commission that states once a building has been painted in the past no special permits are needed to repaint the same area. This is great news for Merit and will greatly improve this vital corner of the main commercial corridor.
